Altitude Athletic is Toronto's first high altitude training facility and your destination for athletic training above sea level. Our simulated altitude chamber can be brought to elevations up to 20 000 feet by reducing the concentration of oxygen in the room. We are located right downtown on 56 Colborne Street (King and Church).

All-out, resisted max sprint on a bike used to measure anaerobic power of the lower body.

InBody Body Composition Analysis CAD$60 per appointmentA credit card is required to enroll but isn't charged until the time of service.

A coach will take you through a body composition analysis using the InBody 570 Body Composition Analyzer. Using bioelectrical impedance, the device can measure your fat, muscle and water levels (intracellular and extracellular). You'll take the test simply by standing on the device and holding the electrodes in each hand. The test will print out a full-page results sheet demonstrating the lean mass and fat values in each segment of your body. Please see the full description for a breakdown of all the results produced by the InBody Test. The coach conducting your analysis will then interpret and evaluate your results and provide necessary recommendations to your diet and exercise plan. Results are saved and can be tracked with ongoing, routine assessments.

Redcord Neuromuscular Suspension Test CAD$60 per appointmentA credit card is required to enroll but isn't charged until the time of service.

This test focuses on identifying movement dysfunction, muscular imbalances and weaknesses in the different muscle chains. After identifying dysfunction training is used to enhance muscular coordination and stability through exercises that demand high neuromuscular effort, without high mechanical load.

Thorough full body range of motion test serving to identify muscular inhibition and left vs right side imbalances. Once these imbalances are identified and prioritized low intensity positional isometric activation drills are prescribed to restore and improve function in the body.

Classes

Open Gym

Come during our regular open gym hours for self-guided solo sessions. Whenever a class isn't running, it's open gym time and the chamber is yours. So you can put your headphones in and get on with whatever is on your training schedule for that day.

Endurance Plans available from CAD$249Purchase required to enroll

Proven staples of endurance training will make up the majority of the program, with extras peppered in from our coaching experience and collaboration with cycling and running specific coaches. Classes will range from 30 – 60 minutes and will rotate through different focuses, and we’ll let you know what the training directive is for each week so you can plan accordingly. If you’re new to endurance athletics, participating consistently will cover all of your bases. Sample classe focuses include LSD, Pace/Tempo, Interval and Fartlek training.

Quickfit Free

20 – 25 minutes in length, QuickFit classes get the job done in as little time as is effective. Short as this workout may be, members will find these classes very challenging if they are willing to bring intensity to the session. QuickFit is great for those who are just beginning HIIT, for those with busy schedules, or higher-level athletes looking for maintenance work.

Power Free

Circuit and HIIT are the main themes of these 45 minute classes, with specialty classes available to work on lifts or movements that involve high skillsets. Work on your fundamental movement patterns – Squat, Lunge, Hinge, Push, Pull – and get a great workout in. These classes are ideal for power athletes and goal oriented individuals. Each class will begin with a warmup and will use dynamic and static mobility as a cooldown.

40-50 minutes in length, this class will comprehensively deal with your fitness. From squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling and core training to conditioning, this class has it all. Members who are interested in general fitness, weight loss, building muscle, and increasing performance around activities involving high intensity work will see the most benefit from this class.
