Terms and conditions for The A Team Reservation Fee

A Team Membership Terms and Conditions

The undersigned individual (the Member), hereby indicates their desire to become a member of Altitude Athletic Training, pursuant to the terms and conditions of this gym membership agreement for The A Team 3-month Membership Plan.


Health and Safety Attestation

All of the membership rules contained herein apply equally to members, temporary members and guests alike:

  • The Member attests that they are fully able to participate in an exercise regimen of their design or choosing without undue risk.

  • We require that every member completes a PARQ form and sign a health and wellness liability waiver.

  • All members have to be 16 and over to use the facility.

  • Studio users are advised to inform the instructor of any injuries, pains or concerns prior to the class starting.

  • It is necessary that all members and guests of the club wear appropriate, clean attire and foot wear when using the studio and gym.

The A Team Start Date, Term Length and End Date

The official start date of this plan is on the official open date of Altitude Athletic Training. This plan is only valid for a period of 3 months following the official start date of Altitude Athletic Training. The official end date of this plan is 3 months following the official start date of Altitude Athletic Training. Following the official end date, Members will need to purchase a new plan or pass in order to continue training at Altitude Athletic Training. Although Members will receive a discount on future passes as a member of The A Team, the new plan or pass that Members purchase may not be the same price and/or length as that of The A Team plan.


Gym Membership Dues

The Member agrees to pay in either 3 monthly instalments of $199+HST or 1 instalment of $599+HST prepaid. The $100 reservation fee is considered separate and additional to the monthly or prepaid instalments. These dues may be paid by automatic debit or credit card transaction online or in-person. The A Team’s full membership is non transferrable and non-refundable.

Member Access

This gym membership agreement entitles the member to access to Altitude Athletic Training facilities (open gym and classes) so long as all dues are current. Hours and specific location access are as follows:

Regular Hours:

Monday: 5:00 am – 8:00 pm

Tuesday: 5:00 am – 8:00 pm

Wednesday: 5:00 am – 8:00 pm

Thursday: 5:00 am – 8:00 pm

Friday: 5:00 am – 7:00 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Sunday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

*Holiday hours may apply and will be posted on our website.

Specific Entrance: One door – at the front, to be accessed during operating hours.

  • All aspects of our gym are barrier free and accessible.


Personal Training and A La Carte Services

Personal Training and A La Carte Services are offered by the gym. If they are not included in the member’s membership dues or if the member wishes to purchase more sessions, Altitude Athletic Training reserves the right to demand additional fees for the additional services that the Member chooses to participate in.


Indemnification

The A Team Membership serves as a liability release, pursuant to which the Member agrees to indemnify and hold Altitude Athletic Training harmless against any and all claims of loss or damage without limitation.


Gym Rules and Participation

All of the membership rules contained herein apply equally to members, temporary members and guests alike.

  • The Member hereby agrees to abide by all posted safety guidelines and regulations while using Altitude Athletic Training’s facilities and equipment.
    Additionally, the Member agrees to dress and conduct themselves in a manner deemed appropriate for a fitness facility.

  • The Member shall not consume drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products on Altitude Athletic Training’s property.

  • The Member agrees not to photograph or videotape others without their permission on Altitude Athletic Training’s property.

  • Members are to use lockers for the period they are at the gym. Lockers will be cleared at the end of the day and all items not collected after a period of two weeks will be donated. Altitude Athletic Training is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Altitude Athletic Training reserves the right to revoke the Member’s access if these terms are violated.


Gym Membership Cancellation

By purchasing this plan, you are agreeing to a 3 month commitment with no early cancellations.


Gym Membership Holds

By purchasing this plan, you are agreeing to a 3 month commitment with no temporary holds or pauses within that 3 month period.

Altitude Class Waitlist Policy

Classes have waitlists when they are full. If you are on a waitlist for a class beginning at noon or later and a spot opens up, you will be automatically enrolled in the waitlist up to 1 hour before the class start time. For morning classes (before noon), automatic enrolment will end at 9pm the night before the class. You are still welcome to sign up for a class up to 10 minutes before the class starts, provided there are available spots. If you did not sign up in advance, you may drop by the gym before the class start time and join if there is an available spot. If you reserved your spot and are a no-show, you get one written warning. After that, you start paying a $25 late/no-show fee. You can give up your reserved spot without a fee as long as it is 12+ hours before the class start time. You may sign up for a class online 48 hours before the start time.


Binding Law

The A Team Membership shall be considered binding upon the Member and Altitude Athletic Training, and shall be upheld and enforced in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any legal proceedings related to this gym membership contract shall take place in courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Acceptance

The below signed parties hereby enter into The A Team Membership contract with one another, in acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms listed above.
